Sales Development Representative

Gravy is looking for a high-energy, fun-loving, driven and achievement-oriented individual to join our sales team. The right candidate models the skills, positive mindset, magnetic personality, and adaptability to not only win over their outbound prospects but also nurture inbound leads — both with the goal of booking sales qualified opportunities for the Sales Executive (SE) team to close. This position requires a self-starter and the ultimate team player who embodies Gravy’s 5 Core Values (see below), can work well with a close-knit Sales and Marketing team, has incredible written and verbal communication skills is entrepreneurial in spirit, has an engaging personality, and is coachable in nature. This person is always looking to get better and has the drive to hit their personal goals each day while helping the company achieve quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
This is a 40-hour, 1099 contractor on Gravy’s sales team located in Metro Atlanta or remotely, dependent on the applicant.
This role will be evaluated based on developing sales qualified opportunities resulting in closed clients contributing to new monthly recurring revenue (MRR) and supporting Gravy’s sales targets.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Developing new sales qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting.
Successfully producing sales qualified opportunities for Sales Executive team to close.
Optimize the outbound prospecting strategy utilizing email, phone calls, social media, events, etc.
Build a social media network to expand influence and thought leadership.
Represents Gravy as an influencer and insight leader inside target markets.
Acts as the voice of the prospect and continuously communicates factors of success into feedback loops.
Research and assess potential prospects.
Monitor customer, market and competitor prospecting activity and provide feedback.
Immediately engaging, utilizing and optimizing creative strategies to increase marketing lead-to-sales-qualified-opportunity conversion rates through a variety of engagement techniques on social media and off (including DMs, videos, text, email).
Converting MLs into SQOs (booked calls) for Sales Executive team to close.
Effectively move SQO through the sales pipeline in collaboration with the Marketing team and Sales Executive team.

Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office & Google applications
Experience in lead management, outbound prospecting, and sales cycle management

Sales Development Representative is a full-time 1099 contractor and has a flexible work schedule. However, we expect you to work your tasks to completion Monday-Friday and be responsive to other Gravy employees within 2 hours between 8:30am-5pm EST. We expect all customer inquiries to be responded to within 24 hours Monday-Friday.
