Sales Development Representative

Gravy is looking for someone who hates to lose more than they love to win to join our sales team. This individual will be a high energy proven sales development representative with a track record of successfully developing new sales qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting. The right candidate will be a critical sales team member with direct responsibility for effectively moving leads through the sales pipeline in collaboration with the Marketing team and Sales Executive team. This position requires a self-starter who can work closely with the marketing and sales team, is entrepreneurial in spirit, and has drive to help the company achieve quarterly and annual revenue objectives. This is a full-time, exempt, benefited position on Gravy’s sales team and reports directly to the VP of Sales & Revenue located in Metro Atlanta or remotely dependent on applicant.
This role will be evaluated based on developing sales qualified opportunities resulting in closed clients contributing to new monthly recurring revenue (MRR) and supporting Gravy’s sales targets.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Developing new sales qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting.
Effectively moving leads through the sales pipeline in collaboration with the Marketing team and Sales Executive team.
Successfully producing booked calls for Sales Executive team to close.
Optimize the outbound prospecting strategy utilizing email, phone calls, social media, events, etc.
Build network to expand influence and thought leadership.
Represents Gravy as influencer and insight leader inside target markets.
Acts as the voice of the client and continuously communicates factors of success into feedback loops.
Develop new leads and participate in the process of closing new business opportunities.
Research and assess market opportunities.
Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to the leadership team.
2+ years of professional experience in sales development and or market development in eLearning or SaaS

Ability to spend all day sending emails and making phone calls

Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office & Google applications
Experience in lead management, outbound prospecting and sales cycle management
Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
Strong team player in a very agile work environment
